four day Hombre; one of the most enjoyable bands to come out of Leeds. They have songs to make you dance, laugh and cry (sometimes at the same time, which can be dangerous if it occurs too often), and their stage presence is unbelievable. They have more energy than Moby with many cups of coffee and many kilos of sugar inside him (albeit without the danger of 'spillage'). The band have the ability to mix many styles of music into a tight ball of sound, and yet still make it sound fantastic. The best way to put it is as the band put it: 'dEUS meets The Frames who then get together & mug Led Zeppelin in a dark alley, four day Hombre would make Wheat & Counting Crows laugh at a party, & make REM cry at a gig. As feelgood as G. Love, as desperate as Nine Inch Nails; living life in widescreen...'

Over the past year, the hombre's have set up a rehersal room / recording studio in their soundproof basement, played all over the UK, have released 2 EPs, played as support for many bands (The Frames, The Frank & Walters, Abdoujaparov, and many others), played as headliners, having grown supprt by many, being in constant demand, getting minor record company attention, coming second in the Carlsberg Battle of The Bands (only losing out to a band with so much stage presence, the lead singer has to go into the crowd). Their first EP 'four day Hombre' was recorded at Fernbeck Studios, Yorkshire and consists of 7 of the most loving & awe-inspiring songs that have ever been written. With the emotional 'Crying Shame' and the rock of 'Christina's Song'. Recently, they recorded some new songs in their basement by playing a live set and rcording the sounds created. Therefore, they named it 'Live 2000'. Their stage sound is recreated, as well as some of their classics. 'Allow Me' is one of the current favourites in the EVILoffice, with tracks such as 'Don't tell me Now' (aka: I love the way you neigh, baby), 'Trace my Way', and 'Make me See'. This is one band who are destined to the top, and will never stop being fantastic. Miss them at your peril. <MooseBlaster>
